Adding and Editing Purpose Preferences

You can create purpose preferences to capture a wider range of data subject preferences through your collection points and preference centers.

Once you have set up your purpose preferences, you will need to associate them with purposes of processing that will be used to set up collection points and preference centers. An important characteristic for purpose preferences is that when a data subject submits consent for a purpose preference via a collection point that is associated with the same purpose for which purpose preference selections have already been made, the new selections will replace the existing selections.

Note:

For more information about setting up purposes, see Setting Up Purposes of Processing.
