Managing Reason Templates

You can create templates for reasons that can be used to explain changes made to a data subject's consent preferences. When modifying consent on behalf of a data subject, these options can be quickly selected by users who are making the change, minimizing keystrokes. If reason templates are set up in a Multi Page Preference Center, data subjects would then be prompted to select a reason for unsubscribing to all purposes. By using reason templates, you can pre-define common reasons for changes made to a data subject's consent.

Note:

For more information on modifying a data subject's consent, see Managing Consent on Behalf of a Data Subject. For more information on using reason templates in a preference center, see Creating a Multi Page Preference Center.
