Creating OneTrust Embedded Web Form Collection Points

You can create OneTrust Embedded Web Form type Collection Points that are designed and customized within the OneTrust application and embedded on your website. Once created, you can build the web form based on the needs of your organization and embed the web form on your web site to automatically send consent data to OneTrust.

To create a OneTrust Embedded Web Form Collection Point

  1. On the Universal Consent & Preference Management menu, select Interfaces > Collection Points. The Collection Points screen appears.

  2. Click the Add New button. The Create New Collection Point screen appears.


  3. Select the OneTrust Embedded Web Form tile.
  4. Click the Create New button. The Create Collection Point modal appears.


  5. Complete the fields, as necessary. For more information, see Create Collection Point Modal Reference.
  6. Click the Create button. The Builder tab on the Collection Point Details screen appears, where you can begin building your OneTrust Embedded Web Form.

Field
Description
Name

Enter a unique name for the OneTrust Embedded Web Form.

Description

Enter a brief description of the OneTrust Embedded Web Form.

Organization

Select the organizational group that will be responsible for the OneTrust Embedded Web Form and the data collected through it.

Default Language

Select the default language for the OneTrust Embedded Web Form.

Responsible User (Optional)

Select the user that will be responsible for the OneTrust Embedded Web Form.

To create a copy of an existing OneTrust Embedded Web Form

You can create a copy of an existing OneTrust Embedded Web Form to use the existing configuration as a starting point and modify the content accordingly.

  1. On the Universal Consent & Preference Management menu, select Interfaces > Collection Points. The Collection Points screen appears.

  2. Click the Add New button. The Create New Collection Point screen appears.


  3. Select the OneTrust Embedded Web Form tile.


  4. Click the Select button for any of the existing web forms. Previews of existing OneTrust Embedded Web Forms appear. You can click each web form to view the content fields already configured for the web form.


  5. Click the Select button for the existing web form that you want to copy. Then click the Choose This Template button. The Create Collection Point modal appears.

  6. Complete the fields, as necessary. For more information, see Create Collection Point Modal Reference.
  7. Click the Create button. The Builder tab of the Collection Point Details screen appears with the content fields configured with the OneTrust Embedded Web Form that you copied.
