Publishing OneTrust Embedded Web Form Collection Points

After you've finished configuring your OneTrust Embedded Web Form Collection Point, you can publish the web form to generate integration scripts. OneTrust Embedded Web Forms can be deployed automatically for existing cookie domains via a cookies script published from the Cookie Consent module. Alternately, the web form script can be manually integrated within your website.

Note:

Once a OneTrust Embedded Web Form has been published, no further changes can be made to the published version. You can create a new version of the OneTrust Embedded Web Form if additional changes are required.

Things to Know

  • If you are publishing the OneTrust Embedded Web Forms via a cookies script for the first time, you must have the Publish embedded webforms via Cookie Consent script permission to publish via Cookie Consent along with read-access to the Cookie Consent module.

  • A message will appear indicating when a user does not have the necessary permissions to deploy via a cookies script. These users will need to integrate the web form script manually.

  • If the web form has already been published via a cookies script by a user with the appropriate permissions, other users who access the Publish Web Form modal but do not have the necessary permissions will still be able to republish the web form via a cookies script on the URLs that are already integrated via Cookie Consent. However, any new URLs will require manual integration.

  • If the web form has been published via a cookies script and it appears under Ready to deploy via manual integrating our script, see your Cookie Consent configuration. In the Scripts Screen of the Cookie Consent module, select your website and make sure that the Embedded Web Form Test Script Integration setting is enabled on the Test Scripts/Production Scripts tab.

For more information, see Publishing and Implementing Cookie Consent Scripts.

  7. The entered URLs will appear under different categories based on how they can be integrated.
    • If Cookie Consent is utilized by your organization and you have the necessary permissions to deploy via a cookies script, Cookie Consent will be scanned for domains that match the host of the URL that you entered. This means that a URL with www. will only match a domain which also has www. (or any other subdomain).

    • If Cookie Consent is not utilized by your organization or you do not have the necessary permissions, the entered URLs will only be available for manual integration. These URLs will appear under Ready to deploy via manual integrating our script.
