Viewing Third-Party Inventory Data Graphs

Data graphs help visualize inventory records and their defined relationships in a visual data map as configured in the Related tab.

The image below shows a standard inventory list with relationships defined:

To access a data graph

  1. On the Third-Party Risk Management menu, under Inventory, select an inventory where you'd like to view a data graph of current relations.

    Note:

Currently, you can view data graphs for the Asset and Vendor inventory types.

  2. Select the name of a inventory object record. The Inventory Details screen appears.

  3. Navigate to the Related tab.

  4. Click the View Data Graph button. The Data Graph screen appears.

  5. The data graph will show how the selected inventory object record (shown in the center) relates to other inventory objects according to the defined relationships. The graph uses various labels to reference the relationships between records.

    Note:

If there are no inventory relations defined, the map will not have any information to display.

To learn how to add relations to inventories, and to view all relations you can add to inventories, see Adding Related Objects to Third-Party Records.

  6. Click and drag to move the graph around. Use your respective operating system zoom in/out functions to enlarge or shrink the graph size.
