Bulk Updating Contracts

You can update contracts in bulk using the Update Contracts template. This template allows you to bulk update contracts using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that can be imported into OneTrust.

  2. On the Contracts screen, click the Context menu, then select Bulk Update.
  3. Click Download on the Update Contracts tile.
  4. Open the document in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Update the fields for the downloaded template as needed. For more information, see Bulk Import Template Fields.
  6. Save the template to your computer.

Bulk Import Template Fields

The templates will list the active and custom attribute fields that you can edit. The Options tab in the Excel document displays all single-select and multi-choice attribute options.

The fields in the following table and any custom attributes you have added must have complete entries in order to bulk update contracts. You can complete the remaining optional fields as necessary in the Options tab in the Excel document.

Important:

All active attribute fields in your contract's Details are required, even if they are not marked as a required attribute in the UI. All attribute columns must be included in the import template with their existing values. If columns are added but left empty, the corresponding values will be cleared.
