Threat Library Management

You can create a depository of threats that can be assigned to risks to assist with the organization and monitoring process of resolving and containing threats within the company.

To create a custom new threat

  1. On the IT & Security Risk Management menu, select Threat Library.

    The Threat Library screen appears.

  2. Click the Add New button.

    The Add New Custom Threat modal appears.

  3. Complete the fields, for more info, see Add New Custom Threat Screen Reference.
  4. Click the Add button.

Field
Description
Threat ID

Enter a custom ID number.

Threat Name

Enter the name of the threat.

Status

Select the current status of the threat.

Description

Enter the description of the threat.

Standard/Framework

Enter the standard/framework that coincides with the threat.

Category

Select the category of the threat.

To edit threat details

  1. On the Threat Library screen, select the name of the threat you want to edit.
  2. Click into and edit the fields as needed.
    Note:

    The Status field is locked and cannot be edited when the other fields are in edit mode.

  3. Click the Save button.

To delete threats

Note:

You can only delete threats in the Archive status.

  1. On the Threat Library screen, click the checkbox of the threat you would like to delete. You can select multiple threats at a time.
  2. Click the Delete icon.
    The Delete Records modal appears.

  3. Click the Delete button.

To export the Threat Library

  1. On the IT & Security Risk Management menu, select Libraries > Threat Library.

    The Threat Library screen appears.

  2. Click the Context Menu icon and select Export.
  3. Click the Export button.
    The Report Download modal appears.

  4. Click Close button. The export will be generated in the background. When the report is ready to download, a notification will appear on the Notifications icon.
  5. Click the Notifications icon.
    The Notifications popover appears.

  6. Click the export link in the popover to download the exported list.
