Using the Privacy Rights Automation Dashboard

You can leverage the DSAR Dashboard to gain an executive-style overview of the request queue and details. Each section displays different metrics and details about the requests in the Privacy Rights Automation Queue.

Note:

Enable the New Dashboards setting to select between the default dashboard and custom dashboards. Once you copy a dashboard, you will be able to change your viewing selection here, as well as edit and configure the dashboard with widgets that meet your organizational and business needs.

For more information on dashboard configuration, see Creating Dashboards. For more information on reporting and dashboards options available to the module, see Reporting Options for Privacy Rights.

Summary Metrics

The Summary Metrics section provides a general overview of the total number of requests received, the number of requests completed, the average number of days that it takes to complete the requests, and the average cost to resolve requests, based on tracked time.

The Average Time to Complete widget will be calculated using the total number of hours for completion based on submitted date and completed date. This means that for a request that has 2 days and a few hours left to complete, it would be represented by decimals as represented in the example below. Other examples:

  • 12 hours = 0.5 days

  • 6 hours = .24 days
