Supported Languages for Data Redaction

The following table outlines which languages are supported/shared on the main OneTrust application and the DSAR Redaction tool. This support is available to all out-of-the-box text elements seen in the interface.

Important:

The DSAR Redaction tool currently identifies PII in English only. OneTrust is working toward auto-redaction support in additional localized languages as the product develops.

Setting System Language Preferences in the Redaction Tool

Language Options

You can choose a default system language for your DSAR Redaction tool.

Click the user profile icon in the top menu, then select Set Language. A modal appears for you to choose a system session language.
