Configuring the Integration for Data Redaction

Data Redaction for DSAR begins with an integration launched by a system subtask on a request workflow. This integration sends a call to scan all the relevant user files in the integrated system instance. OneTrust will retrieve those files, post the unstructured text to the given request's Results Summary, and then auto-redact the data elements found using OneTrust's classification service.

This article is only applicable to Data Redaction customers who have also purchased Targeted Data Discovery (TDD) to facilitate their request fulfillment.

Note:

This article references UI components and configuration practices that are considered part of the Legacy workflow. OneTrust encourages all Data Redaction customers to migrate their redaction management to the Unified Product released in OneTrust 6.31. For more information, see OneTrust DSAR Redaction Feature Guide.
