Self-Service Portal Settings

You can configure Self-Service Portal settings on the Global Settings menu to manage the assessment launching capabilities of your organization's users.

To configure Self-Service Portal Settings

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner to access Global Settings.
  2. On the Global Settings menu, select General settings > Self-service portal. The Self-service portal screen appears.

  3. Customize the Self-Service Portal Settings, as necessary.

    Restrict assessment creation to SSP

    Enable this setting to allow users with the BypassSelfServicePortal permission to launch assessments from the Self-Service Portal or the PIA & DPIA Automation module. If enabled, users that do not have this permission will only be able to launch assessments using the Self-Service Portal.

    If disabled, users without the BypassSelfServicePortal permission will be able to launch assessments from either the Self-Service Portal or the PIA & DPIA Automation module.

    Self-Service Portal Welcome Message

    Enable this setting to allow users to add a welcome message that will appear on the Assessments screen in the Self-Service Portal. If enabled, you can configure a header and message to display when users access the Self-Service Portal.

    If disabled, a welcome message will not display for users on the Assessments screen in the Self-Service Portal.

  4. Click the Save button.
