Creating Object Records

You can create new objects to help define and manage new inventory records for the context of their use and adoption across the platform.

Important:

Object records can also be created in the respective inventory screen. Any object record created through this method will also appear in the list screen of the target inventory type (e.g. object records created for a project = new projects created in the Projects inventory screen).

To create a new object record

  1. On the given module menu where the object is scoped, select Objects.

    The Objects screen appears.

  2. Click on the name of an object. For example, the following object types are available for AI Governance:

    • AI systems

    • Datasets

    • Models

    • Projects

  3. In the given object's list screen will be the list of existing records. To create new records, click the Add New button.

    The Create New modal appears.

  4. Complete the required fields. Click Show more details to display additional fields.
    Note:

    To create, delete, or modify available fields, go to the attribute manager for the given object.



  5. Click Save button. The new object record will be added to the list screen for the given object type.
