Managing Notifications for Failed Integrations

In the event your OneTrust integration fails, you can set up notification preferences with configurable frequency options to receive emails when messages fail. This allows the chosen recipient to know immediately when the given integration is has failed to execute while limiting the amount of emails to reduce notification noise.

For more information on enabling configuring the reprocessing methods for OneTrust integrations, see Reprocessing Methods for Integration Workflows.

For more information on halting and errors for OneTrust integrations, see Handling Errors in Integration Workflows and Integrations: Halting and Errors.

To set the notification frequency

  1. On the Integrations menu, click Integrations.

    The Integrations screen appears.

  2. Click on the name of an integration.

    The Integration Builder screen appears.

  3. Navigate to the Details tab.
  4. In the Notification Email field, enter the desired user email.
  5. The setting Send email notifications on failed integration will be enabled by default.
  6. Enter the desired frequency in hours to limit the window of integration notifications.
    Tip:

For example, if you set to 3 hours the user will receive at most one failure notification every three hours or until the integration enters a halted state.

So if the integration fails at 12:00 PM, you would immediately receive an email. With the frequency option set to 3 hours, you would not receive another notification unless there is another failure at 3:00 PM or later.

If there were any more failures after 12:00 PM but before 3:00 PM, then you would not receive another email during that timeframe.
