Extracting Consent Receipts from the Application
You can contact your OneTrust Consultant to submit a request to access your receipt storage. Your OneTrust Consultant will then contact the respective OneTrust Product Team to process the request and provide you with the access key so that you can download and review your data.
To request an access key
Consent receipts are stored in an Azure Storage Account as a private Blob document in an encrypted format. OneTrust can share a Shared Access Signature (SAS) token with customers so that customers can download their consent receipts. This token will have read-only access that will be valid for four weeks.
In order to request an access key to your receipt storage, you must provide the following details to your OneTrust Consultant:
Once your access request has been granted, you will have the ability to provide a receipt ID and download those receipts to their storage location.
This key is the only way to access your data, which is encrypted at both the storage layer and at the individual record layer.

To download consent receipts
Customers can use the following tools to download their consent receipts: Azure UI Tool - Azure Storage Explorer or Azure CLI Tool - AzCopy.
The number of consent receipts will vary by customers' traffic, ranging between a few thousands to a few billions. If the number of consent receipts is large, the download can take a considerable period of time. Azure's azcopy copy command is recommended when there are a large number of consent receipts.
