AI Chatbot Use Case for AI Governance

This documentation guides users through the process of setting up, activating, and deploying an AI initiative using our AI Governance solution.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following:

  1. Administrator access to the AI Governance module.

  2. Business Owner contact details for the AI initiative.

Required Actions

Configure Template

  1. On the AI Governance menu, select Setup > Templates. The Templates screen appears.

  2. Click the Choose From Gallery button. The available Gallery templates will appear.

  3. Choose the AI Intake Assessment template.

  4. Edit the template to capture specific details aligned with your organization's needs.

Self-Service Portal Setup

  1. Navigate to the Self-Service Portal.

  2. Publish and integrate the newly created template.

  3. Share the generated link with the relevant business owner for AI initiative onboarding.

AI Initiative Assessment Activation by Business Owner

  1. Business Owner accesses the Self-Service Portal via the provided link.

  2. Business Owner launches and assessment and provides details about the project, model, and dataset.

  3. Business Owner submits assessment for approval.

Assessment Approval & Experimentation Phase

  1. Upon review, approve the assessment.

  2. The AI Project Status updates to the Experimentation phase.

  3. Business Owner coordinates with the Data Science team for model experimentation.

Deep-Dive Assessment Post-Experimentation

  1. After experimentation, a detailed assessment is performed. This may be a conformity assessment like NIST AI RMF or OECD AI Principles.

  2. This captures granular details about the Project, Model, or Dataset.

Move to Production

  1. After a thorough review and approval, update the model's status to Ready for Production.

  2. Alert the data science team to deploy the model.

  3. Upon successful deployment, update the model and overall project status to In Production.

Maintaining Compliance

  1. Set a recurring assessment, approximately every six months.

  2. Send the assessment to the business owner for re-evaluation and ensure the project operates as intended.
