Configuring Audit Management Workflow Routing Rules

You can automatically assign workflows upon the creation of audits, workpapers, and findings using condition-based routing rules. This functionality looks at the attribute values in newly created records and chooses a workflow that matches the defined value conditions. If no conditions match, the default workflow will be assigned.

Note:

Routing rules only trigger when a new audit, workpaper, or finding is created. A new routing rule will not run on existing records or when an existing record is edited.

To add a routing rule

  1. On the Audit Management menu, select Setup > Workflow.

    The Workflows screen appears.

  2. Select the workflow type you wish to configure.
  3. Select the Routing Rules tab.

    The Routing Rules screen appears.

  4. Click the Create Rule button to add a new card to the list.
  5. Enter a name for the new rule.
  6. Complete the fields. For more information, see Routing Rules Screen Reference.
  7. Click the Save button to save the routing rule.
