Insights Compliance Automation Dashboard

The Compliance Automation Default Dashboard allows you to report on data captured by initiatives created in the Compliance Automation module. You can utilize the data available on the Compliance Automation Default Dashboard to view key metrics associated with initiatives, laws, frameworks, controls, and evidence tasks.

The Compliance Automation Default Dashboard is divided into the following tabs: Compliance Automation Insights | Control Insights | Evidence Task Insights. The following sections provide additional details on each tab.

Note:

To access the Compliance Automation Default Dashboard, navigate to Reports > Dashboards. Then enable the Insights Dashboards setting. The  Compliance Automation Default Dashboard is also available by navigating to Compliance Automation > Dashboard.

Compliance Automation Insights Tab

The Compliance Automation Insights tab displays all initiatives by initiative source. This dashboard allows users to view a detailed overview of the standards, frameworks, evidence tasks, and controls related to each active initiative.



The following metrics are available on the Compliance Automation Insights tab:

Description
Filter by Initiative Source

Choose one or more initiative sources to filter the dashboard results. The source is the associated inventory record.

Standards and Frameworks

The total number of standards and frameworks based on the initiative sources selected.

Active Initiatives

The total number of active initiatives based on the initiative sources selected.

Controls

The total number of controls based on the initiative sources selected.

Evidence Tasks

The total number of evidence tasks based on the initiative sources selected.

Overdue Evidence Tasks

The total number of overdue evidence tasks based on the initiative sources selected.

How many initiatives are active for each standard and framework?

The number of active compliance initiatives for each standard and framework based on the initiative sources selected.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of initiatives per framework. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular framework. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Are your controls on track?

The total number of control implementations by control status.

Hover over each segment in the chart to view the exact number of control implementations per status. In addition, you can click each segment to display the percentage of controls in this status and only view data for that particular status throughout the dashboard. Click the segment once more to return to the original view.

Control Insights Tab

The Control Insights tab displays all control details by Control Owner. This dashboard allows users to view a detailed overview of the control status and effectiveness for all controls, by Control Owner.

Choose one or more Control Owner to filter the dashboard results.

Are your controls on track?

The total number of control implementations by control status.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of control implementations per status. In addition, you can click each bar to display the percentage of controls in this status and only view data for that particular status throughout the dashboard. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

How effective are your controls?

The total number of control implementations by control effectiveness.

Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of control implementations by control effectiveness. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular level of effectiveness throughout the dashboard. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.

Controls

The total number of controls across active compliance initiatives based on the Control Owner selected.

Controls Table

Key metrics for all controls across active compliance initiatives. Metrics include:

  • Control Name

  • Control ID

  • Source

  • Status

  • Effectiveness

Evidence Task Insights Tab

The Evidence Task Insights tab displays all evidence task metadata by evidence task assignee. This dashboard allows users to view a detailed overview of the total number of tasks and task statuses.

The total number of evidence tasks by status.

Which assignees have overdue evidence tasks?

The total number of overdue evidence tasks by assignee.

Evidence Tasks

The total number of evidence tasks across active compliance initiatives based on the evidence task assignee selected.

Evidence Tasks Table

Key metrics for all evidence tasks across active compliance initiatives. Metrics include:

  • ID

  • Evidence Task

  • Collection Interval

  • Current Interval Status

  • Source
