AI-Powered Evidence Task Recommendations

The AI Recommended Evidence Tasks feature is available for customers with solution packaging only.

You can now review and add AI-Powered evidence task recommendations for custom controls created in your Control Library. This feature simplifies the process of mapping custom controls by using AI to suggest relevant, out-of-the-box evidence tasks that align with your control objectives when creating and editing controls. AI will intelligently recommend evidence to be collected for the control and explain how to demonstrate control effectiveness. This helps to streamline the control mapping process by reducing manual effort, minimizing errors, and accelerating audit and assessment readiness.

Important:

Keep the following in mind when using evidence recommendations:

  • Evidence recommendations are only supported for custom controls. They do not apply to standard or out-of-the-box controls.

  • Recommendations are generated based on the Control name, Control description, and Implementation guidance defined for the custom control.

  • Evidence recommendations are only displayed if a corresponding evidence task already exists for your organization. If no matching evidence task is present, no recommendation will appear.

  1. On the Compliance Automation menu, select Libraries > Control Library.

    The Control Library screen appears.

  2. Add a new custom control or open an existing custom control.
    Note:

    For more information on creating a new, custom control, see Managing Controls.

  3. On the Control Library details screen, select the Library Evidence Tasks tab. The tab shows the Recommended section with AI recommended evidence tasks and the Active section with the evidence tasks associated with the control.

    Note:

    When library evidence tasks are already mapped to the control, the Recommended section will be minimized.

  4. Review the AI recommended evidence tasks linked to similar controls. You can hover over the What to Collect and Reason columns, and click the link in the Name column to open the Library Evidence Task screen for more details.
  5. Click Add in the Active column to add the recommended evidence task to your custom control. The evidence task will be moved to the Active section and will move from the Suggested to Accepted status.

  6. To remove an AI recommended evidence task from the Active section, hover over the task row and click the Context Menu icon. On the Context menu, select Remove and click the Confirm button on the confirmation modal.
    Note:

    The AI recommended evidence task will be removed from the Active section and moved back to the Recommended section. You'll then have the option to add the evidence task again.
