Privacy Rights Automation Terminology Guide

The following terminology is featured in the Privacy Rights Automation module and corresponding documentation.


Term	Definition
Web form	The end-user-facing series of questions designed to allow users to request changes to or deletion of their data.
Workflows	Refers to the intake and fulfillment process leveraged to resolve requests.
Request queue	Also known as the Requests list screen, this refers to the UI screen where requests are stored and displayed.
Request	A user’s submission to an organization asking the organization to: delete or change the user’s data. send information on what data the organization has about the user. send information on the organization’s policies or consumer rights.
Privacy Portal	The external application where data subjects can submit requests, share files, update request details, and communicate with admins handling their request.
Subtask	An action that needs to be taken or item that needs to be addressed in relation to a request.
