Populating Advanced Relationship Attributes

Users can view and populate advanced attributes on the Related Data Elements tab of a processing activity.

Important:

In order to view the advanced attributes, the advanced attribute must be configured. For more information, see article Configuring Advanced Attributes.

To populate advanced relationship attributes through related data elements tab

  1. On the Data Mapping Automation menu, select Processing Activities or Assets. The corresponding inventory list screen appears.

  2. Select the name of a processing activity or asset record. The Inventory Details screen appears.

  3. Go to the Related tab.
  4. Select the Context Menu icon on the attribute you want to edit. The Context menu appears.


    Note:

    If there are no related data elements, click the Manage Data Elements button and select all data subject types and data elements related to the processing activity.

  5. Select Edit Data Element Details. The Edit Data Elements Details modal appears.


  6. Complete the text fields.
  7. Click the Save button.
