Field
Description
Respondent experience Enable custom instructional message
If enabled, the configured instructional text will appear when users launch an assessment using this template. This text will appear when an assessment is launched from the assessment list or from an object record.
Section visibility
Select Assigned or All to enable respondents to see and respond only to their assigned sections or view all sections in read-only mode, respectively.
Section completion and notifications
Select Any order to allow respondents to complete assessment sections in the order they choose. All sections are available from the start. Respondents will receive a single notification at the beginning, informing them of their assigned sections.
Select Consecutive to require respondents to complete the assessment sections in consecutive order. Respondents must complete each section before moving on to the next. Notifications will be sent as each section becomes available.
For more information, see Assigning Assessment Sections in Sequence.
Allow respondent management
If enabled, respondents of assessments can edit the assessment's respondents. This includes adding or removing respondents, or editing section assignment if enabled in tenant settings.
Restrict access to OneTrust user list
If enabled, any user without Assessment Respondent Reassign permission within an assessment using this template will not be able to see the list of system users when reassigning respondents. This is to prevent users from seeing a full list of users in OneTrust.
These fields will only accept a valid email address.
Data handling Auto-Assign Primary Record
Admin-Driven (Default): Allows an admin or assessment creator to select the primary record when launching the assessment.
Respondent-Driven: Allows the response to the primary-record question to determine the primary record during the assessment. Use Respondent-Driven when the respondent should select or create the record that the assessment is about.
Allow users to launch assessments without setting a primary record
Enabled by default, this setting is used for both inventory and non-inventory assessments. Enabling this setting displays an option to launch an assessment without setting a primary record. If an Admin-Driven assessment is launched without a primary record, selecting a vendor or engagement later links that record to the assessment but does not assign it as the primary record. You may disregard this setting if there are no primary record questions on the template.
Prepopulate attribute question
Attribute questions will be prepopulated with the current object attribute value.
Preserve or delete hidden data
Select Preserve to keep all data, including hidden responses, intact in the assessment and inventory.
Select Delete to remove hidden responses and data from both the assessment and inventory. If the hidden response is the only source of a risk, deleting it will also eliminate that risk and its related relationships.
For more information, see Preserving or Deleting Hidden Data.
Remove workflow approvers when reassessing or duplicating
When enabled, assigned workflow approvers will not be carried over to assessments that are duplicated or reassessed.
