Configuring a PDF Report
You can leverage PDF reports to capture information across the application and provide records as evidence to justify certain actions, which is a useful technical control method in the event of an audit. PDF reports can be a valuable tool that can help you achieve executive oversight of your organization's activities, especially when evaluating your privacy program's compliance with GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws.
The content within PDF reports is built by adding sections on the View Builder tab on the PDF Builder screen. There are a variety of different section types available based on the data type of the report. For example, in Assessment type PDF reports, available section types include Assessment Details, Assessment Questions, and more. On the other hand, for Inventory type PDF reports, available section types include Inventory Attribute, Related Inventory, and more. You would then determine which section types to configure within your PDF report depending on the data you want to include and further configure the details for each section to meet your organization's needs.
