Disabling Insights Seeded Dashboards

Site Admins and managers within the application can disable Insights seeded dashboards to prevent the dashboard from being viewed across the application, which may be useful in scenarios where certain metrics should be hidden for all users. In addition, since dashboards within modules are sorted in reverse alphabetical order, disabling a seeded dashboard will make the first dashboard in that order the default dashboard for all users accessing the module.

To disable an Insights seeded dashboard

  1. On the Reports menu, select Dashboards.

    The Dashboards screen appears.

  2. Click the Context menu icon for the seeded dashboard that you want to disable.
  3. On the Context menu, select Disable.
    The Disable dashboard modal appears.

  4. Click the Confirm button. The dashboard becomes unavailable and cannot be accessed until enabled.

To enable an Insights seeded dashboard

  1. On the Reports menu, select Dashboards.

    The Dashboards screen appears.

  2. Click the Context menu icon for the seeded dashboard that you want to enable.
  3. On the Context menu, select Enable.
    The Enabled dashboard modal appears.

  4. Click the Confirm button. The dashboard becomes available.
