Insights IT & Security Risk Management Dashboard
The IT & Security Risk Management Dashboard allows you to report on data captured by the IT & Security Risk Management module. You can utilize the data available on the IT & Security Risk Management Dashboard to view key metrics associated with risks and controls associated with your organization for reporting and management purposes.
The IT & Security Risk Management Dashboard is divided into the following tabs: Overall Risk Posture | Risks - Needs Attention | Controls. The following sections provide additional details on each tab.
To access the IT & Security Risk Management Dashboard, navigate to Reports > Dashboards. Then enable the Insights Dashboards setting.
Overall Risk Posture Tab
The Overall Risk Posture tab displays all risks associated with your organization. This dashboard allows users to view a detailed overview of your organization's risk records.
The following metrics are available on the Overall Risk Posture tab:
- Field
- Description
- Total Risks

Total number of risks across the organization.
- Mitigated Risks

Total number of risks that have been mitigated by the risk owner.
- Average Residual Risk Score

Average residual risk score across risks across the organization.
- Risks by Stage and Level

Total number of risks in each stage by risk level.
Hover over each segment in the chart to view the exact number of risks per level and stage. In addition, you can click each segment to display only data for that particular risk level and stage combination. Click the segment once more to return to the original view.
- Risks by Category

Total number of risks within each risk category type.
Hover over each bar in the chart to view the exact number of risks per category. In addition, you can click each bar to display only data for that particular category throughout the dashboard. Click the bar once more to return to the original view.
- Top 10 Risky Assets

Details on the top 10 assets that have the greatest residual risk score.
Hover over each rectangle to view the asset name and the risk score for that asset. In addition, you can click each rectangle to display only data for that particular asset throughout the dashboard. Click the rectangle once more to return to the original view.
- Critical Risks Captured Overtime

Total number of critical risks captured across the organization.
Hover over each point in the graph to view the number of critical risks created at a given date and time. In addition, you can click a point on the graph to display only data for that particular date and time throughout the dashboard. Click the point once more to return to the original view.
- Average Risk Scores By Categories

Inherent and residual risk scores across risk category types.
Hover over each point to view the inherent and residual risk scores per risk category. In addition, you click each point to display only data for that particular risk level throughout the dashboard. Click the point once more to return to the original view.
Risks - Needs Attention Tab
The Risks - Needs Attention tab provides insight into the risks that are in need of attention in your organization.

- Overdue Risks

Total number of open risks that have passed the mitigation deadline.
- Net New Risks (Last 7 Days)

Total number of new risks that were created in the last seven days.
- Risks Deadlines (Next 30 Days)

Total number of risks with a deadline in the next 30 days.
- Open Risks by Risk Category & Level

Total number of open risks within each risk category type and risk level.

- Overdue Risks by Risk Owner & Risk Level

Total number of open risks that have passed the mitigation deadline by risk owner and risk level.

- Controls by Status & Effectiveness

Total number of control implementations by status and effectiveness of the control.
Hover over each segment in the chart to view the exact number of control implementations per status and effectiveness. In addition, you can click each segment to display the percentage of controls in this status/ effectiveness and only view data for that particular status throughout the dashboard. Click the segment once more to return to the original view.
- Ineffective Controls by Control Owner

Total number of controls that have a status of ineffective and who is the control owner for these controls.
