Reviewing and Approving Recommended Terms

Using Data Catalog, you can review and approve terms recommended to define the technical metadata within your data assets.

Terms are discovered through Data Discovery scans. To learn more, see the Data Discovery Knowledge Base.

Flag for Review allows you to mark a term as needing further review from another user or users within your organization.

Approve allows you to add the recommended term to your data asset as related, which also adds the term to your Enterprise-Wide Glossary.
