Managing Datasets in AI Governance

Sourced from the scanned data source, Datasets train models to understand what type of data is held in the given system(s). With this organizations can understand how the data used by AI is tracked, versioned, and annotated in the data source.

To create a dataset

  1. On the AI Governance menu, select Inventory > Datasets.

    The Datasets screen appears.

  2. Click the Add dataset button.

    The Create new modal appears.

  3. Provide a unique name and the appropriate organization level. The Organization field will default to the current level. Click Show More Details to add additional context to the dataset.

  4. Click the Save button. The new dataset will be added to the Datasets list screen.
  5. The record will be created using the assigned default workflow. To change the default option, see Creating & Managing AI Governance Workflows.

To manage dataset details

  1. On the AI Governance menu, select Inventory > Datasets.

    The Datasets screen appears.

  2. Click on the name of a dataset.

    The Inventory Details screen appears with the Details tab open by default.

  3. In the Details tab, update the dataset's details as necessary.

  4. Click the Save button to retain your changes.

To delete a dataset

  1. On the AI Governance menu, select Inventory > Datasets.

    The Datasets screen appears.

  2. Hover over the row of a dataset to reveal and click the Context Menu icon.
  3. Select Delete.

    The Delete Record modal appears.

  4. Click the Confirm button. The dataset will be removed.
