Allow OneTrust to monitor and collect information about the health of the worker node and troubleshoot based on identified errors. This optional feature is enabled during guided installation as part of the worker node's Advanced Options, or it can be enabled for existing worker nodes in the Configurations tab in the Worker Details screen.

OpenTelemetry is an open-source observability framework that simplifies the gathering and management of telemetry data. It supports a wide array of receivers that collect metrics, traces, and logs from various sources. By employing OpenTelemetry, OneTrust can efficiently gather the necessary data, enabling us to create comprehensive dashboards that provide valuable insights into our system's performance and health.

Accessing Grafana Dashboards

  1. In the Coralogix console, click on the menu icon on the top right of the page and select Grafana. The Telemetry Grafana dashboards will appear.

  2. Click on the Dashboard icon and then Manage.

  3. Open the DataDiscovery folder and choose the dashboard you’d like to view. For dashboards populated by metrics via Open Telemetry, they will be prefixed with DD Telemetry in the title.

  4. In the Coralogix menu, click Explore then select Data Map.

    Tip:

To check whether a specific metric is being collected by Open Telemetry and uploaded to the cloud (Coralogix), use the Data Map section to search for metrics available on Coralogix.

  5. In the Explore screen, click the Add Group button. A modal to search for metrics appears.

  6. Look up a specific metric and click on the drop down window under the Data Model label.

If you see an attribute called workerNodeId, then this is a metric processed by Open Telemetry collector, as it is a unique label that is added to metrics collected by Open Telemetry.
