Data Policy Insights
The Data Policy Insights feature is available for customers with solution packaging only.
Data Policy Insights allow data governance teams to quickly identify and prioritize critical data policy violations they need to address. They offers an at-a-glance-overview to monitor policy enforcement as well as tailored insights into relevant data policies, urgent violations, associated data sources, and policy actions driving resolution, to enhance overall data governance.
This allows members of a data governance team to address the following questions:
-
What data policies and data sources are relevant my role?
-
What are the most urgent violations?
-
Which data policies are these violations coming from?
-
Which data sources are they associated with?
-
What policy actions are driving the resolution of my data policies?

Trending Metrics
Syncs occur once a week every Saturday. Whenever there is a trending direction and a percentage given , this indicates that the current metric shown is the difference from last week's sync. For example, last week's violation count was 20. After resolving a single violation, the metric would be updated to reflect 19. The resulting last week trending percentage would be 5%.
The table below describes the behavior for insights with positive and negative trend directions.
