Data Governance User Roles
In addition to the Site Admin user role, which has complete access to the application, there are additional roles available for Data Governance with reduced scope.
- Data Governance Manager

Data Governance Managers are business users who have access to most everyday and some administrative functions in the Data Catalog module. The user is granted full create, update, and delete access to the Data Catalog.
- Data Governance Viewer

Data Governance Viewers have read-only access to the Data Catalog module. By default, Data Governance Viewers can view information, but cannot make any configuration changes in the Data Catalog module, nor can they create, update or delete any records in the Data Catalog or Data Dictionary.
- Data Steward

Data Stewards are able to manage the data catalog from a business functionality perspective and will be able to create a catalog that is tailored to multiple users.
