Viewing Catalog Dashboards

In Data Catalog, you can use pre-configured dashboards to view high-level metrics on your organization's data assets, business glossaries, and classification tags. You can drill down on specific metrics within widgets and access items in your catalog directly from the dashboard.

To navigate the dashboard

  1. On the Data Catalog menu, select Dashboard in the Reporting section.

    The dashboard appears.

  2. Click the Overview, Data assets, Business Glossary, or Classification tags tabs to view metrics on different areas of your catalog.

To filter the dashboard by specific metadata

  1. On the Data Catalog menu, select Dashboard in the Reporting section.

    The dashboard appears.

  2. Click on a section of a widget or an item from the List section you want to filter by. All relevant widgets and metrics respond to the selection.
  3. View the filtered dashboard.

To access metadata in the catalog

  1. On the Data Catalog menu, select Dashboard in the Reporting section.

    The dashboard appears.

  2. Select the name of a metadata item from the List section.

    The corresponding Details screen appears.
