Collibra Tag Enrichment Integration Feature Guide

The Collibra Tag Enrichment Integration wizard allows users to sync tags between OneTrust and Collibra metadata objects to better leverage the platform's discovery and classification abilities.

When a tag is applied to a schema, table, or column in any RDBMS data source in OneTrust, the corresponding tag will be applied to the matching object in your Collibra data catalog. The asset for the parent schema must already exist in Collibra, but tables and columns will be created automatically if they do not exist. Additionally, any edit to or removal of a tag will be synced as well.

Important:

Tag sync only occurs when new actions are taken (added, updated, removed) after the integration is activated. Existing tags in an asset will not be automatically mapped.

Note:

This wizard is currently behind preview. To get early access to this feature, please contact OneTrust Support to submit the request.

To configure the trigger

  1. In the Configure Trigger wizard screen, define under which conditions the connection should be triggered. Add multiple operator statements and conditions to enforce stricter criteria. By default this integration will trigger for all RDBMS data sources and for all schemas, tables and columns that are tagged.

Conditions will also allow you to exclude any data sources or schemas, in case you do not want any tags applied to columns or any asset matching the listed data source.

    The Mapping wizard screen appears.

To map data sources and tags

  1. In the Data Source Mapping section, identify which OneTrust Data Source corresponds with the intended Collibra Data Source.
    Tip:

Data sources that have identical names in both OneTrust and Collibra will be automatically recognized and integrated without requiring manual mapping.
