Integrating Privacy Notices

When you publish a privacy notice, an integration code snippet will be generated that allows you to implement the privacy notices across your sites. On subsequent publishes, the notices will be updated with the changes to your content without having to replace the code snippet implemented on your site.

To integrate privacy notices

  1. On the Privacy Notice Management menu, select Privacy Notices. The Privacy Notices screen appears.
    Note:

If you own Policy Management, the menu will be named Policy.

  2. Click the link in the Name column for the privacy notice you want to integrate. The Privacy Notice Details screen appears.

  3. Navigate to the Integration tab.
  4. Option 1: Click the Copy button to copy the code snippet for the Published SDK or Draft SDK on the SDK tab and paste it into the pages where you want to integrate your notices.

Option 2: Click the Copy button to copy the code snippet for the Plain Text Notice on the Plain text tab and paste it into the pages where you want to integrate your notices.

    Note:

The Show plain text policy setting must be enabled to view and copy the plain text version of the privacy notice on the Integrations tab. For more information, see Building and Editing Privacy Notices.

    Important:

The latest published content will appear in each location where the code snippet is implemented without having to replace the snippet each time a change is made.

    • The Published SDK code can be pasted into any page you would like to display the privacy notice. The code will always display the latest published version. Published changes may take up to 4 hours to appear in the code.

    • The Draft SDK code can be pasted into your test environments to preview how the current saved draft of the privacy notice will appear.
