Implementing the TYPO3 Extension for Cookie Consent

TYPO3 is a free enterprise-class CMS based on PHP. It combines open source code with reliability and true scalability.

To Install the TYPO3 Extension

  1. From the TYPO3 main menu, expand the Admin Tools tab.
  2. Select the Extensions tab and select Get Extensions.


  3. Search for the CookiePro extensison.
  4. Select the CookiePro extension and click the Import and Install button.
  5. Go to the Installed Extensions tab.


  6. Click the Activate button to activate the extension.

To Enable the CookiePro Extension

  1. From the TYPO3 main menu, expand the Web tab and select the Template tab.
  2. Select Info/Modify from the top menu and click Edit the whole template record.


  3. Go to the Includes tab.
  4. Click the CookiePro Extension. The extension will move from Available Items to Selected Items.


  5. Click Save.

To Add the Cookie Banner Script

  1. From the TYPO3 main menu, expand the Web tab and select the Template tab.
  2. Select Constant Editor from the top menu.

    The Template tools screen appears.

  3. Under the Category menu, select PLUGIN.COOKIEPRO (1).

  4. Insert the Banner script.
  5. Click Save.
