Implementing the Joomla Extension for Cookie Consent

Joomla is a free open-source Content Management System (CMS) based on PHP and and MySQL. A Cookie Consent Extension is available for download from the Joomla Extension Library.

To Implement the Joomla Extension

  1. Login to your Joomla Dashboard.
  2. From the Control Panel menu, select Install Extensions.
  3. Search for CookiePro and select the CookiePro extension.
  4. Click the Install button.
  5. Next select Plug-ins from the Extensions menu.
  6. Search for and select the CookiePro extension.
  7. Change the status of the CookiePro extension to Enabled.
  8. Paste the Main Script tag where indicated.


  9. Click the Save button.
