Setting the Cookie Expiration Interval

The Irish Data Protection Commission requires that site visitors provide consent for data sharing every 6 months. This can be easily done in the Cookie Consent module by setting the OneTrust cookie expiration time.

To Set the Cookie Expiration Interval

  1. On the Cookie Consent menu, select Geolocation Rules. The Geolocation Rule Group Details screen appears.

  2. Select the Geolocation Rule and click the Edit button.
  3. Change the Reconsent will occur after field to 6 months.


  4. Click the Save button.
  5. Re-publish the domain. It will take up to 4 hours for the changes to take effect.
