Suggested Trust Center Setups
Trust Center is a highly modulable and brandable application and can be easily customized to meet your organization's needs. The modular design allows you to easily tailor your portal, adding or removing pages and sections, as required, in a flexible way, ensuring it can evolve over time.
This article will walk you through the recommended configurations to help you set up and customize your Trust Center. The following sections provide information to create a seamless experience for the users of your portal from the beginning. The steps below are suggested best practices for optimal performance and ease of use, but you are free to structure your pages in the way that best suits your needs. Keep in mind that a well-configured portal can save you time and resources in the long run!
Home
The following is an example of a Home screen built using a Hero section, a Section header, a Text block section, and a Quote. Make sure your Home screen is designed to maximize user engagement and clearly communicate key information at a glance.
For more information on other possible configurations, see Adding a Generic Section.
My data
The My data screen can provide a comprehensive view of portal users' personal information. This second screen has been created using a combination of a Section header and a Data Element section. This space allows your portal users to add, edit, and save changes for their phone, email, country, city, and birthday details which can bring structure to the data being collected across your organization.
For more information, see Adding a Generic Section and Adding Consent Preferences and Data Element Sections.
Consent preferences
The Consent preferences screen allows you to manage how you want to be informed about new products, updates, or special offers. In this screen, your users can select which types of marketing preferences they want to receive, such as newsletters, events, or promotional discounts. The possibility to customize these settings in the Consent preferences screen ensures end-users stay informed about relevant updates. These preferences can be adjusted anytime, giving them full control over the marketing content they receive.
For more information, see Adding Consent Preferences and Data Element Sections.
Authentication
To avoid access to sensitive data and to show relevant information to the portal user, the Authentication screen will prompt them to enter their email address or phone number to access Consent preferences and Privacy request sections using a one-time password (OTP) .
This page will appear automatically only if you have configured sections that require authentication, such as the Consent preferences and Privacy request sections.
For more information, see Configuring Authentication for Trust Center.
Privacy requests
The Trust Center includes the option to add a Privacy requests section, which allows data subjects to easily view the status of their requests and provide comments or additional context directly through the interface. This screen is designed to enable more direct and accessible communication, while improving the efficiency of compliance workflows.
For more information, see Adding a Privacy Requests Section.
