Enabling Primary Record for a Third-Party Due Diligence Assessment

You can designate an inventory record to link to an assessment as the primary record. This allows you to pre-populate existing data for the assessment, and add data from the assessment to the inventory record.

To enable the primary record

  1. On the Third-Party Due Diligence menu, select Templates.
    The Template screen appears.
  2. Click the Create Custom Template button.
    Note:

You can also enable the Primary Record from the Choose From Gallery templates and templates that have already been created but remain unpublished.

    The Create Template modal appears.
  3. Complete the fields, for more info, see Creating a New Vendor Template.
  4. Click the Add Section button.
    The Section Name modal appears.
  5. Enter a name for the section.
  6. Click the Add Section button.
    Note:

If you want to make another section immediately without closing the modal, click the Save and Add New button.

    The new section appears.
  7. Hover over the section just created and click the Add Question button or drag a Inventory Question Type to the preferred section.
    Note:

Primary Record can only be enabled on Inventory Questions and Assess Control.

    The Question Builder appears.
