Viewing Profile History for Third-Party Records
This article explains how to access and read profile history for third-party records. Profile history can help you monitor new data that surfaces from past screenings.
When you receive monitoring alerts on an existing profile, one or more new rows of data are displayed. This new data requires manual mitigation to maintain the audit history associated with the decisions on the original / previous profile match.
To receive monitoring alerts, you need to configure the application to send you them. For more information on setting up monitoring alerts, see Configuring Monitoring Alerts.
To view a third-party record's profile history
Access the Profile History tab to view monitoring alert data listed in order from most to least recent. Use the steps below, or click the View Alert button in a monitoring alert email.
The Profile History tab will appear blank under the following circumstances:
-
When initial screening results are created. The profile history considers updates made to a previously matched profile, so it will appear blank until updates are received.
-
When a Dow Jones Quality Assurance Analyst reviews an existing profile. Although updates have not been made, the profile is tagged as Reviewed, which generates a monitoring alert. In the future, Dow Jones will be implementing a resolution to prevent this from happening. There is no current timeline of when this change will be implemented.
