Terminate Monitoring of Third-Parties and Linked Entities
You can now terminate the monitoring of third-parties and linked entities. Monitoring may need to be terminated when relationships with a third-party comes to an end or when changes in the third-party organization results in the departure of screened Beneficial Owners, Managers, Directors, or Officers (Linked Entities). You can terminate monitoring of third-parties and linked entities via:
-
the Third-Parties list screen
-
the Third-Parties Details screen
-
the Update Third Parties bulk import template
-
third-party and vendor workflow stage rules
Termination of monitoring is a critical step in managing the costs associated with a Dow Jones screening subscription. When a third-party or linked entity relationship is terminated, it is imperative to utilize the options described in this article to terminate ongoing daily monitoring. Once monitoring is terminated, it removes the previously monitored name from being counted against your subscription volume at the time of contract renewal with OneTrust. The process below describes how to terminate monitoring either individually or through bulk actions.
Once the monitoring of a third-party or linked entity has been terminated, it can be re-enabled via the Update Third Parties import template and workflow stage rules.
