Configuring Risk Management Workflow Routing Rules

You can automate the assignment of risks to workflows using condition-based routing rules based on the details in the risk when they are added to OneTrust. These routing rules help provide more control and flexibility when using workflows to monitor and respond to risks.

Note:

Routing rules only trigger when a new risk is created. A new routing rule will not run on existing risks or when a risk is edited.

To add a routing rule

  1. On the IT & Security Risk Management menu, select Setup > Workflow.

    The Workflows screen appears.

  2. Select the type of workflow you would like to configure.
    Note:

Currently, workflow routing rules can only be added to risk workflows.

  3. Click the Routing Rules tab.

    The Routing Rules screen appears.

  4. Click the Add Rule button to add a new card to the list.
  5. Enter a name for the new rule.
  6. Complete the fields. For more information, see Routing Rules Screen Reference.
  7. Click the Save button to save the routing rule.
