You can manage exception records in bulk using the Create Exceptions and Update Exceptions import templates. These templates allow you to bulk create or update exceptions using a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that can be imported into OneTrust.

  2. On the Global Settings menu, select Data Import > Import Templates.

    The Import Templates screen appears.

  5. Click the Download button to download the bulk import template.
  6. Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Excel.

The Instructions tab of the spreadsheet appears.

    Tip:

Use the information on the Instructions tab to ensure the import is successful.

Bulk Import Template Fields

The templates will list the active default and custom attribute fields that the user can edit. The Options tab displays all single-select and multi-choice attribute options.

Note:

All fields are optional unless noted otherwise. If a required field is left blank, the import will fail. If an optional field is left blank, the current data in OneTrust will be overwritten as blank.

The fields listed in the table below include system attributes only. If you have custom attributes enabled, these fields will appear after the Source Type column in the spreadsheet. Use the Attribute Manager to manage your custom attributes.
