Adding Translations to a Document
You can add supported languages as translations to a standard, policy, or procedure. Adding document translations makes your documents more effective and makes it easier for users to understand the details presented in the document. For more information on support languages, see Available Languages.
Translations can be added by:
-
Uploading a PDF file of the translated document
-
Uploading a Word file of the translated document
-
Manually adding the translated text using the OneTrust Builder
To upload translations
You can upload a PDF or Word file to use for your document translations while the document is in Draft status. Translations can be uploaded for documents created using the OneTrust Builder, Microsoft Word Online, or documents uploaded as a PDF or Word file.
Once the document is published, you can no longer add translations. You must create a new version of a published document to upload new translations.
To manually add translations using the OneTrust Builder
You can use the OneTrust Builder to manually add document translations while the document is in Draft status. This manual translation can only be added for documents using the OneTrust Builder.
Once the document is published, you can no longer add translations. You must create a new version of a published document to upload new translations.
