Subscriptions

Stay informed about the documentation that matters most to you. Content Subscriptions allow you to subscribe to documentation content and receive notifications whenever the content is updated, helping you stay current with the latest product guidance, feature changes, and documentation improvements. This capability is planned as part of the new Documentation Portal experience and is dependent on Single Sign-On (SSO) being enabled.
Note: Expected January 2027 or earlier

What Are Content Subscriptions?

Content Subscriptions enable you to follow specific documentation content and receive notifications when that content changes. Depending on your subscription preferences, notifications may include updates to:

  • Specific topics in product documentation
  • Configuration and administration guides
  • FAQs
  • Release notes
  • Troubleshooting content

Instead of manually checking whether a page has changed, the portal notifies you when updates are published, ensuring you always have access to the latest information. The subscription experience is designed to provide notifications and digest options tailored to your interests.

Why Subscribe to Content?

Subscribing to content helps you:
Stay current
Receive notifications when important documentation is updated so you can quickly understand changes that may impact your implementation, operations, or compliance activities.
Save time
Eliminate the need to repeatedly search for updates or revisit pages to see whether information has changed.
Focus on what matters
Follow the products, topics, and documentation areas most relevant to your role and responsibilities.
Reduce risk
Ensure your teams are working from the most up-to-date guidance, helping avoid issues caused by outdated information or processes.

Prerequisite: Single Sign-On (SSO)

Content Subscriptions require users to be authenticated so the portal can associate subscription preferences with an individual account and deliver notifications to the correct recipient.

As a result, Content Subscriptions will be available only after Single Sign-On (SSO) has been enabled for the Documentation Portal. Until SSO is implemented, users will be able to access documentation but will not be able to create or manage subscriptions.
