Data Discovery Settings

You can manage configuration settings for the Data Discovery product in Global Setting. Data Discovery settings control how classification results are evaluated, whether classification samples are collected and retained, which users receive worker node and scan notifications, and whether deployed worker nodes are updated automatically.

To configure Data Discovery settings

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner to access Global Settings.
  2. On the Global Settings menu, select Data Discovery > Classifier or General.
  3. Customize the settings as necessary.

    Classifier

    Configure confidence ranges, automatic approval thresholds, classification data samples, and sample retention.

  4. Click the Save button.
