Available Languages

OneTrust has multiple languages available throughout the main application, which refers to any content you would see while navigating through the modules and their out-of-the-box, standard available screens, menus, and setting names. In addition, language support is also available across OneTrust's public-facing tools, such as Banners and Preference Centers. However, language support is not included for custom attributes, custom templates, or other custom fields that have been added, nor any preview features which are required to even see the feature set. Additionally, OneTrust does not support automatic translations of custom content.

The OneTrust Available Languages spreadsheet provides a list of languages available across various areas and denotes which languages have available out-of-the-box translations. The difference between available languages versus translated languages is as follows:

• Available languages are languages that can be enabled in order for you to add your own translations. All languages listed in the spreadsheet are available languages.

  Note:

  For more information on language settings and configurations, see System Language Settings, Default User Language, and Personal User Language.

• Translated languages are languages for which OneTrust offers out-of-the-box translations. Only languages that are marked with a ⚫ in the spreadsheet have available out-of-the-box translations in the corresponding area. The translations available will vary between human translations and machine translations depending on the given language. You can view which areas of the platform offer human versus machine translations in the OneTrust Available Languages spreadsheet.

  Human Translations

  : Translations in the given language are provided by a human translator. OneTrust maintains and regularly updates languages marked with human translations.

  Machine Translations

  : Translations in the given language are provided by a machine. The accuracy of machine translations may vary across different languages and may not be as accurate without human involvement. Limited support is available for languages with machine translations. OneTrust is aware of these limitations and will aim to improve our content so that the translation of the target language is accurate and contextual to the original language's intent.

  Note:

  OneTrust continuously adds new content and languages. As a result, certain translations may appear for languages not marked in the spreadsheet. Alternatively, certain translations may not appear for each individual key or string for machine-translated languages marked in the spreadsheet.
