Launching Incident Assessments
You can directly launch an assessment from any stage of the incident workflow. You can also link assessments that have already been launched to an incident.
You can view active, archived, and deleted assessments on the Incident Management menu. Deleted assessments appear in the Recycle Bin.
If the creator of an assessment is the same as the respondent and approver of the assessment, users will not receive email notifications when the assessment is Assigned, Approved, or Completed. However, if the assessment is auto approved upon submission then the respondent will receive the Assessment Completed notification.

To link an assessment to an incident
Reassessing or copying an incident-linked assessment
When you launch an assessment from the detail tab of an incident, the incident question in the assessment is linked to that incident and can display the related incident information.
If you copy or reassess that assessment and then submit it, a new incident is created. The copied or reassessed assessment does not relink the incident question to the original incident. This is expected behavior.
A copied or reassessed assessment is treated as a new assessment submission. If you need the assessment to stay connected to an existing incident, launch the assessment from that incident instead of copying or reassessing a previous assessment.
