Enabling SSO for DataGuidance

Your organization's IT services can provide admin consent for your users and grant single sign-on (SSO) access to OneTrust DataGuidance® Research. This provides seamless access both DataGuidance and myOneTrust with a single SSO login that is also supported for popular social platforms. This enhancement simplifies the user experience, eliminating the need to manage separate credentials and allowing users to access all their resources with ease.

To log in as a user via SSO

  1. Go to dataguidance.com
  2. Click the User icon in the top-right corner and then select Log In.

  3. A login screen appears with the typical email and password option. Below it are several SSO options for accessing the site. Only Azure requires SSO configuration while the other are simple credential access.

  4. Given your organization has authorized SSO for the application, you will be logged in and brought to the DataGuidance home screen.

To configure Azure SSO

Tip:

This configuration is conducted exclusively within Azure. No action is required within the DataGuidance tool.

  1. Paste the following URL into your browser:
    JSON
    https://login.microsoftonline.com/{client_azure_ad-tenant-id}/adminconsent?client_id=4c3b3af6-1916-4340-99d0-69cf9412bcad
  2. Update {client_azure_ad_tenantid} with your Azure AD Tenant ID or the verified domain name.

This is to identify the app and its given permissions, allowing the admin to review and grant tenant-wide consent to the app.
