Migrating Web Form and Workflow Templates

You can migrate published web form and activated workflow templates as JSON files data between accounts to reduce time and effort spent reproducing configurations. This feature allows users to set up web forms and workflow configurations in testing environments and then easily import them into working production environments.

To export a web form template

Note:

Only published web form templates can be exported.

  1. On the Privacy Rights Automation menu, select Setup > Web Forms. The Web Forms screen appears.

  2. Click on the Context menu of a web form tile, then select Export. The Export Web Form modal appears.


  3. Click the Notifications icon to download the web form template.

To import a web form template

  1. On the Privacy Rights Automation menu, select Setup > Web Forms. The Web Forms screen appears.


  2. Click the Import Web Form button. The Import Web Form modal appears.

  3. Click the Select File button to upload a web form template.
  4. Complete the fields. For more information, see Import Web Form Modal Reference .
  5. Click the Import button. The Web Form Customization screen appears.

  6. Configure any additional details for the newly imported web form, then click the Publish button.

Enter a name for the newly imported web form.

Managing Organization

Enter the managing organization for this web form.

Request Fulfillment Workflow

Enter the fulfillment workflow to be used for this web form.

To export a workflow template

Note:

Only activated workflow templates can be exported.

  1. On the Privacy Rights Automation menu, select Setup > Workflows. The Workflows screen appears.

  2. Click on the name of a workflow. The Workflow Details screen appears.

  3. Click the Export button. A confirmation modal appears.
  4. Click the Notifications icon to download the workflow template.

To import a workflow template

  1. On the Privacy Rights Automation menu, select Setup > Workflows. The Workflows screen appears.

  2. Click the Import button. The Import Workflow wizard appears.

  3. Click the Select File button to upload a workflow template.
  4. Enter a name for the imported workflow in the Workflow Name field.
    Note:

    The Workflow Name field will automatically populate based on the imported template's name.



  5. Click the Import button. The Map Workflow Details screen appears.

  6. Configure mapping for the newly imported workflow.




  7. Click the Import button.
