ID Verification Implementation Guide for OneTrust & LexisNexis

OneTrust supports an integration with LexisNexis' Risk Defense Platform (RDP) for Privacy Rights Automaoitn enterprise customers to verify the identity of the consumer before honoring their request. Using an implemented pre-approved decision workflow incorporated with LexisNexis products, customers can connect to their LexisNexis instance via OneTrust to initiate identity verification.

Consumers will submit their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to a OneTrust web form, which will be passed to LexisNexis for verification to make a PASS/FAIL decision. A successful PASS will prompt a challenge quiz, a set of questions the consumer will answer to verify the PII. LexisNexis scores the responses, sends another decision to OneTrust, then OneTrust will present a verification screen informing the consumer of the final decision.

Customers will be responsible for testing the configuration and consumer flows as LexisNexis offers unique URIs for staging versus production environments. Of the PII returned from LexisNexis, OneTrust will only store the decision (i.e., PASS/FAIL).
