Exporting Article 30 Reports from Legal Entities

You can export an Article 30 report directly from a legal entity record to document processing activities. The report includes processing activities related to the legal entity from which the report is exported.

To create an Article 30 report

  1. On the Data Mapping Automation menu, select Entities. The Legal Entities inventory list screen appears.

  2. Hover over a row for a legal entity until the Context Menu icon appears.
  3. Click the Context Menu icon. The Context menu appears.

  4. Select Export Article 30 Report. An Export Article 30 Report modal appears.
  5. Select a report template from the selection menu or use the default OneTrust Article 30 template.
    Note:

    The menu will display a list of all processing activity report views that have been created. The report template selection determines which columns are displayed in the export. The processing activities in the report are only those associated with the legal entity record from which you are exporting the report. Filters applied in the report view will not populate.

  6. Complete your selections. For more info, see Export Article 30 Report Modal Screen Reference.
  7. Click the Export button. An Article 30 Export file will appear in the Task Notification Center.
    Note:

    The column Data Element - Personal Data is not available when exporting Article 30 reports directly from legal entity records.

    To generate an Article 30 report that includes the Data Element - Personal Data column, navigate to Reports within the OneTrust application.

Select All Processing Activities

Select to include all processing activities where the legal entity is linked as a controller, processor, or joint controller.

Controller

Select to include all processing activities where the legal entity is linked as a controller.

Processor

Select to include all processing activities where the legal entity is linked as a processor.

Joint Controller

Select to include all processing activities where the legal entity is linked as a joint controller.
